When to use the complete stylesheet and when to compile — sizes, trade-offs and how to switch.
The idea#
Full mode emits the entire catalog — great for prototyping via CDN, wrong for production. JIT emits only what your content uses. Same classes, same names — only the delivery changes, so switching modes never touches your markup.
In practice#
example
# full build (CDN / prototyping)
npx nakshora build nakshora.css --full -o dist/nakshora.css
# JIT build (production)
npx nakshora build nakshora.css -o dist/nakshora.min.css --minifyCommon mistakes#
- Profiling performance on a full build and blaming the framework
- Forgetting to set content globs, which silently disables JIT
